Tarot Tutor Alison will be offering workshops for all those wishing to either expand on their reading skills or start out as readers, whether privately or for clients. Look out for the following workshops during 2010

YAY ! at last - thank you for your patience to date. I am pleased to be able to offer you the following dates: Starting Monday 20 Sept, continuing 27 Sept and then October 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th. If Monday does not suit you, please reply by 31 July with the alternative days that would suit you. Please register by 30 August. Once you have registered I suggest you log onto the Aeclectic Tarot website http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/ which will enable you to look at some of the hundreds of decks available. Local shops will not permit you to open the decks of cards in the shop, so the Aeclectic site is a good one for examining different decks. I also suggest that you buy your decks on-line via Take2, who are not only incredibly efficient, situated in Montague Gardens, but also cheaper than retail outlets: [email protected]. By Lesson Two of this course, it will be essential to have your own deck of Tarot cards. As explained previously (to some of you) this new six weeks' course is a fusion of TAROT with writing skills & practice. I have tried it myself, and found it incredibly exciting and fruitful. TAROT FOR WRITERS: MONDAY 20 SEPTEMBER 2010 THROUGH TO MONDAY 25 OCTOBER
6 week course, 2 hour lessons : 1900/2100. : R 150 Per lesson, total R 900 (half payable on Lesson One)
During the lesson, plenty of hands-on interactive exercises. In-between lessons, there will be on-line writing exercises and projects. This is a fun, easy course to introduce a new technique, will give the grounding for further progress, whether you want to continue your own private writing (e.g. Journals, Memoir) or tackle work for publication, or enter the annual madness known as National Novel Writing Month.
BASIC INFO :
Because I teach these workshops at home, there are space constraints: it is essential to book early.
Bring: notebook, pen, a highlighter, your deck .
Maximum number of attendees per course/workshop: 10 people – individual attention for all
Payment: on the first night, at least half the fees - cash only, please.
